Project Introduction
In today’s fast-paced world, mental well-being has become a priority for many, yet finding effective tools for self-reflection and emotional support remains a challenge. Our Sentiment-Aware Journaling Web App addresses this need by merging the timeless practice of journaling with the power of artificial intelligence. This innovative platform provides users with a space to freely document their thoughts and feelings while gaining deeper insights into their emotional state through AI-driven analysis. At the heart of our app are two key features: a freeform journal entry section that allows users to express themselves without constraints, and a chatbot that engages them in meaningful conversations about their day. Using advanced natural language processing (NLP), the app offers personalized emotional feedback and actionable suggestions, helping users identify recurring patterns in their emotions, whether it’s stress, anxiety, or moments of positivity. Our goal is to empower users with the knowledge and tools to better understand and manage their emotional health, transforming everyday reflections into valuable pathways for personal growth and well-being.
